Its advantage is that a smaller resistance can be selected to obtain a satisfactory detection voltage, and the detection resistance is small and the loss is small.

The opening and closing speed of high-voltage switch, especially recording the number of the pulses, can complete the measurement of the whole stroke parameters of the moving contact; together, recording the time value of each electric pulse, dividing the displacement together, the maximum speed and average speed of the moving contact can be calculated.
